It feels like my "best friend" is suffocating me. I care, or at least pretend to care when it's boring af and she just blows me off. Yesterday I got a really good ranking in this competition for students in schools around the country and when I told her about it she told me didn't care because she didn't like the subject. She could at least try. It shouldn't hurt. #BestFriends #FeelingNeglected

One of the people I consider my best friends can be such a b**** sometimes. Last class we were having a review in class, and we spent half of the time inside, and the other half outside. When we were inside, me and my other friends in the class were taking notes on what would be on the test whereas she was on her laptop doing SOMETHING but not on the document. When we were outside, she sat at his table and took notes, and we didn't because we thought it would be fair if she t... read more

I've been best friends with (Kay) for over 8 years now. We were put into every class together in middle school suddenly and was around each other all the time. The situation definitely made us friends. That same year she got expelled but we continued calling each other best friends even when we rarely talked. Which was okay with me because I'm not the talkative type. So by 10th grade we reunited in school and continued our friendship. She would vent to me about all her proble... read more

We've been working together since we were 15 and 14. We're now going on 21 and 22. We became best friends. We built so much together, with our friendship and our work. I knew it wouldn't last forever, but I never expected it to end so soon, and so abruptly. Just like that I was hung out to dry. I thought maybe I was overreacting, or being irrational. But as some more time has gone by, I've realized that I'm completely justified in feeling this way.

It's pretty ... read more

I don't know what to do anymore. I am 15, don't bother with comments like "your too young for this it's silly" I already know I'm young, but u can't help how I feel. I liked this boy (let's call him John) in my school for a year bearing in mind I've known him my whole life and in September he started liking me so we started talking and meeting up with his friends. But then one weekend when he was on holiday his best friend (Lets call him Matt) started flirting with me even th... read more

Okay so I met my best friend through our churches basketball program in 3rd grade and we have been friends ever since. Fast forward to high school juniors. She's blonde, blue eyed, toned muscles, pianist, used to play softball, possible Olympic trial competitor for swimming, kind, 16th in a class of 535 students, and a christian. She is literally perfect. Everyone loves her. Anything she does, she excels in. I on the other hand have flab around me, I am not athletic, I am not... read more

I think a terrific friend of mine may have feelings for me, but I don't return these feelings and it's stressing me out. I don't want to lose him, he's such an amazing person. I hope that, if he does confess feelings for me that I can let him down without destroying the relationship we have. #conflicted #relationships #bestfriends #toughchoices #whatshouldido?

Being relatively young I never thought I'd have such strong, real feelings for someone. But this crush isn't something that will seem to go away. And of course, he's 500 miles away. Their my best friend, we speak every day for hours, talk about our problems, we are always communicating in some way. He's someone I can truly be myself around. I've known him for over a year, and only in the last 1-2 months I've realized how I really felt. Since then, he fills my thoughts and the... read more
