Muttr update
Privacy where you want it
Choose how each reaction appears, review filtered content directly from your feed, and receive clearer account notices.
Muttr Team This update gives you more control over how you appear and what reaches you across Muttr.
More flexible reaction privacy
Reaction privacy can now be chosen individually for each post.
- React as yourself or anonymously
- Keep your account preference as the default
- Easily see how your own reaction appears
- Enjoy cleaner, simpler reaction controls
This gives you the freedom to show your identity when you want to—and keep it private when you don’t.
Meet your new Filtered tab
Filtered content now has its own tab directly in the main feed.
A badge shows how many posts or comments have been filtered based on:
- Muted words
- Muted accounts
- Content you manually hid
Each item explains why it was filtered. If you decide you want to see something, select Allow and it will return to your feeds.
The tab and badge update immediately as content is hidden or allowed.
Your filtering preferences remain under My Experience in Settings, while the main feed gives you a convenient place to review what those preferences caught.
Clearer account notices
System warnings now provide members with a clear notice when content violates Muttr’s user guidelines.
These notices explain that continued violations may result in suspension or revocation of account privileges, helping everyone understand where they stand.
These changes are designed to make Muttr feel more personal, transparent, and comfortable to use.
