In my entire life, I had never failed an exam, but once I started college, I began to fail several subjects. I was so disappointed in myself. After failing my yearly exam, I retook it in order to continue on to second year. After that, I was trying my best just to pass all subjects. I had a huge game addiction but got myself away from it, and I did significantly better than the previous one, but I still failed two subjects out of seven for only 2-3 marks, but this time I was much happier because I saw my progress. Unlike my parents, they were still disappointed in me and said harsh things. My confidence is shattered when I realize that, like my parents, people do not see hard work unless it results in success.
