Could it maybe be possible to start more than one community without premium? I made a community back when Muttr first reopened to help old users find each other, and I just had another idea for a community I think some users on here would enjoy, but I've already hit the limit.

Can't think of anything I would like to add as a feature, but I can say what I wouldn't like for the site to have as an update tho. Picture posting. That would be baaad💀

it’s hard to know what’s exactly being filtered on your posts i made a post or tried to make a post the other day about my moms boyfriend i didn’t say any like.. slurs or anything but it got filtered and by the time i found what was filtered (by censoring every word) i didn’t even wanna vent anymore if you could release a list of the filtered words or just have the notif tell you exactly what’s being filtered on your posts it would be so amazing

One thing I don't understand about Muttr is the option to post anonymously, like, you're already anonymous even with an account. The problem is when people on here say some heinous stuff to eachother, and can simply hide behind an anonymous post, as opposed to being held accountable for their actions.

There has to be a better way to keep the doxxing at bay than to ban the word a g e. There are hundreds of common everyday words that contain this string of letters. Its the same person doing it over and over again, right? Can't you IP ban them? Or maybe set up a volunteer moderation system? This site isn't that active, someone popping in once every hour or so to clear rule-breaking posts would do the trick.

Pretty sure the muttr dude isn't really active anymore but adding on to the anon post on this page from Jan 6 - maybe a dm feature could be a somewhat safer alternative so the people that do want to connect off this site can do so without doxxing themselves to the rest of the site? I get it'd be pretty hard with all of the anon users but maybe if it were made to both parties have to accept a request to open a private chat with each other so it's not just full of spams.

Can we add tags and the ability to filter content based on those tags like on the old muttr? I do not want to see political debates every time I come on here. It would be good if users could suggest tags for a post too.

A reminder somewhere emphasizing how you shouldn't share personal information on here. And an option to report it. Noticing people mostly teenagers using this site to look for friends and offering ways to contact them off-site. They don't seem to understand how dangerous that is. Or maybe it's 40 year olds posing as teenagers. Either way people especially young people with mental health struggles are very vulnerable and often lonely. You never know what kind of bad actors decide to lurk here sadly it's better to be safer than sorry.

the 5 posts per hour limit on (true) anon users is silly. it wasn't there in old muttr (as far as i remember) so i think it shouldn't be here now. especially since posts can be reported and hidden, plus the ability to mute words.

I think some old quality of life features need to be added back to Muttr and maybe some new ones that go along with it.For example, the point system was really good for limiting those who could use copy and past and post links something we kind of need now , with the spam. Perhaps non paid users can go on a 30 minute to hour delay and depending on their points.So it can slowly be cut down to the one minute timer logged in users have now. Paid to user can have the initial 1 minute delay between posts and maybe some goody features like being able to post certain posts and gifts within their posts or even scheduling posts ahead of time. I know that's the main goal is to negate ads by having paid users but at this point , until there's some change to the borderline illegal spam , I don't want to use my money.

giphy is actual ass. any chance you can use tenor instead? the giphy search feature is like. whatever the opposite of being useful is. most fandoms you just can't search for at all. if you search "waluigi" you will scroll past 9 waluigi-less gifs before he appears even once. and that's just an easy example i experienced recently. more obscure mario characters can't be searched at all. tenor doesn't have this problem, there's stuff for anything you could want. heck i can upload things to tenor and be able to find them in the twitter/bluesky search feature within a day or so.

The gifs adding was a bad idea. Now trolls use it just as I thought they would. I suggest focusing on account improvment in terms of adding " disable comments " or any other privacy setting to combat the trolls. I'm honestly tired of them.

Will it ever be possible to block certain users (with accounts) so that your posts won't appear in their feed and they can't see your page?
